Who we are

ANON NFTs is responsible for the personal data collected on this website. Contact: anonnfts@outlook.com

What we collect and why

Newsletter: your email address, so we can send you ANON articles and updates. We only email you because you signed up (your consent), and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply to you (our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry).

ANON Arcade leaderboards: if you choose to post a score, we store the nickname you pick, your score, the game, how long the game took, the number of moves and the time it was posted. Nicknames and scores are shown publicly on the leaderboards. You don't need an email address or account, and you can skip the nickname, in which case your scores stay on your device only. Please don't use your real name as a nickname.

ANON Arcade play counter: when a game is opened, we record only the name of the game and the time, so we can sort the Arcade by the most played games. No nickname, score, device ID or cookie is used for this.

Storage on your device: the games use your browser's local storage to remember your settings, chosen character, nickname, best scores and streaks, and whether you've seen the newsletter message. This stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Advertising: we use Google AdSense to show ads on this website (see Cookies and advertising below).

Who processes your data

Kit (ConvertKit) sends our newsletter. GoDaddy hosts this website and its contact form. Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam. GitHub Pages hosts the ANON Arcade games, and Supabase stores leaderboard scores and play counts. Google provides advertising through AdSense. These companies may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months. Play counts are kept for up to 120 days. Leaderboard nicknames and scores are kept while the Arcade is running, unless you ask us to remove them.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses cookies set by GoDaddy and Kit for the site to work and for basic statistics. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. If you're in the UK or EU, we'll ask for your consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time using the privacy or cookie settings link on the site. You can manage personalised ads at https://adssettings.google.com and find out how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, including a leaderboard nickname and its scores, by emailing anonnfts@outlook.com. Tell us the nickname and the game or games, and we'll remove them within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
